1 YOUR GOALS

The first step is understanding why you are looking to buy a home and what unique considerations you have. Whether it’s a first home purchase, vacation home, or an investment property, we’ll walk through your objectives and identify homes in neighborhoods that meet your needs.

2 FINANCING

If you are like most home buyers, you’re going to be working with a lender to purchase a home. We maintain a shortlist of active lenders that treat their clients as well as we do and can refer you to as many as needed. We recommend getting bids from at least three lenders to first figure out how much home you can afford. From there, we’ll help match your finances with available properties to determine the right budget for you.

5 THE ESCROW

After your offer is accepted, we’ll craft a detailed escrow timeline highlighting important milestones along the way. If inspections are called for, we’ll arrange those as well and assist you with detailed review of all inspection reports and disclosures. We’ll also be there to handle any mid-escrow negotiations and coordinate the final walk through.

6 CLOSING

As closing approaches, we’ll liaise between you and title/escrow to ensure that your closing statement looks accurate and that you take the proper precautions when remitting closing funds. We’ll also connect you with homeowner’s insurance providers, utility providers, moving companies, etc. And most importantly, we’ll be there to celebrate with you when you get the keys to your new home!

Once your finances are set, the fun begins! Your search for the perfect home will be a blend of self-driven online research combined with our team’s local expertise to help you find the right home in the right neighborhood to meet your unique needs. As homes hit your radar, we’ll schedule home tours and point out the nuances of each home and how they will affect your homeownership experience.

4 CRAFTING AN OFFER

You’ve settled on a home and want to make an offer. We will walk you through the entire offer process from disclosure review to contingencies to special considerations. Along the way, we will be in constant communication with the seller’s agent to unearth valuable intel and minute yet potentially important details that can help your offer stand out.
